How to report a crash or other technical issue to Xaviant

If you want to report a crash, or a bug of a technical nature, we'll need some specific information from the game and your hardware configuration to investigate.

First, check the Known Issues to see if the issue has already been reported to us.

If you're getting a crash on startup (you get a crash report prompt before you make to the main menu), please click here to see how to verify your local install isn't corrupted.

First, your game log. You can find it here:

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Change the location to %localappdata%\Victory\Saved\Logs
3. Look for Victory.log.

Next, your DxDiag.txt file. You can generate this file by pressing Start, then Run, then type "DxDiag" and press Enter; when it runs press the "Save All Information..." button to create and the file.

Finally, if you are reporting a crash, look in the same Logs folder for one or more folders with names similar to those shown here: http://puu.sh/r3pHH/36d3040d70.png. Inside each folder is a file named "UE4Minidump.dmp" - that's the crash diagnostic file we want.

If you're sending several you're welcome to compress them (into .zip, .rar, .7z, etc.) if you know how.

You can use the "Click here for help" button at the bottom right of this page to submit these files.
